Convenient Access from Holliston
A 16-minute drive up through Sherborn brings Holliston families to SOAP Dental in Natick Center. Parents who need a dentist Holliston, MA kids and adults can share will find Dr. Bob Cheng treating everyone from preschoolers to grandparents at one office. Between school, practices and weekend games, that single stop saves a lot of driving.
From the Holliston Public Library at 752 Washington Street, head east on Route 16, the same road that holds Town Hall at 703 Washington Street. Route 16 carries you into Sherborn center, where you turn north onto North Main Street (Route 27). Stay on Route 27 straight into Natick and turn onto Middlesex Avenue, about 7.9 miles in all.
Our office is at 7A Middlesex Ave, Natick, MA 01760, and the Google Maps listing gives turn-by-turn directions from your home. The route skips the Mass Pike and its tolls entirely, though rush hour can slow things through Sherborn center. Neighbors in Sherborn and Millis visit us too.
Game Days, Practice Nights and a Practice That Keeps Up
Youth sports run deep in this town. Holliston Youth Soccer fills the Marshall Street fields, and youth games keep Goodwill Park, Damigella Field and Kamitian Field busy through the season. With that much play, chipped front teeth and split lips come with the territory.
A custom sports mouthguard is one of the simplest ways to protect a young athlete's smile. Dr. Cheng makes guards for athletes of all ages, shaped to each player's own teeth, so they stay put during a slide into second or a header at midfield. Adult players and coaches can get one fitted too.
When an injury does happen, our team reserves time for urgent visits whenever possible. Cone beam 3D imaging gives a 360-degree view of the teeth and roots, which helps Dr. Cheng see damage that a quick look might miss. After hours, the voicemail message explains what to do until the office opens.
Some things in town stay put for generations, like Fiske's General Store, open since 1863, or the stone arch of the Bogastow Brook Viaduct off Woodland Street. We aim for that same continuity in dental care. One dentist follows your family's history over the years, so nothing gets lost when a child grows up or a parent needs new work.
What Holliston Parents Want to Know About Growing Smiles
Holliston Public Schools moves students from Placentino Elementary through Miller Elementary, Adams Middle School and the high school. Each stage brings its own dental milestones, from lost baby teeth in the early grades to orthodontic questions in middle school. Regular checkups every six months let us track that growth and step in at the right moment.
Sealants on new molars, cleanings timed around the school calendar and early bite checks prevent many of the problems that lead to bigger work later. Summer is a popular time to catch up, since kids are off and Saturday mornings from 8:00AM to 1:00PM are open by appointment only. Weekday hours run 8:00AM to 5:00PM.
Teens who chip a front tooth often worry about how it looks for photos and school events. Bonding uses tooth-colored resin to repair chips and reshape edges. It is a practical fix for an active kid who may need touch-ups as they grow.
Adults matter here too. Parents who spend weekends on the sidelines often skip their own cleanings, and gum problems build quietly in the meantime. Booking your checkup next to your child's keeps the whole household on track without another drive up Route 16.
Dentist Holliston, MA Services for Busy Households
Emergency Treatment
Severe tooth pain, gum emergencies, traumatic injuries and broken braces all get prompt care. A ball to the mouth at Kamitian Field is exactly the kind of problem we see quickly. Call as soon as it happens so we can plan your visit.
General Dentistry
Routine exams, cleanings, oral cancer screenings and custom guards form the backbone of family care. Households can book several family members in a row. Steady visits keep small issues from growing into larger ones.
Pediatric Dentistry
Children are seen from infancy through the teen years for cleanings, exams, sealants, fillings and crowns. A calm, friendly first experience builds good habits early. Parents stay in the loop on every finding.
Orthodontics
Traditional braces, clear braces, Invisalign and retainers are offered for children, teens and adults. Orthodontic emergencies, like a poking wire before a tournament, are handled here as well. An evaluation in the middle school years helps with timing.
Cosmetic Dentistry
Bonding, veneers, clear aligners and smile makeovers improve chipped, stained or uneven teeth. Whitening is available for a brighter shade. It is a natural next step for parents once the kids' braces come off.
Not every visit is about kids and sports. Adults with an old filling that finally cracked, a tooth that aches with cold or a gap from a lost tooth can have most restorative work done right here, from crowns and bridges to root canal therapy and implant restorations. Each option is explained before treatment starts, so you can decide what fits your budget and schedule.

LOOK NO FURTHER & book an appointment! I have neglected my teeth for too long but feel absolutely refreshed and hopeful after my visit to Soap Dental. Super clean, easy to find, lots of parking, and extremely relaxed environment. There was never a moment I didnโt feel at ease as to what was going on and was checked in with multiple times to make sure I was comfortable. We spent some time talking about my goals and how we can get there, hallelujah! Iโm actually looking forward to going back next week to get some fillings & sealant applied ๐คฏ. This is such a great establishment, and if youโre like me and need an all-in-one dental facility I cannot recommend this one enough. Your mouth is in great hands. ๐ฉตPosted on Google![]()

Very lovely place. I got my teeth whitened here and from the moment I walked in for my appointment, I was greeted and taken care off. Front desk staff / assistant was super attentive. The office is lovely, once I walked into my room they greeted me with a large TV and my name on it and made me feel comfortable during my teeth whitening session. The doctor is very kind and makes sure you're comfortable during your visit. Frequent check ups during the appointment from the staff / doctor. Would recommend anyone to come here for all your teeth needs!!Posted on Google![]()

If your in need of a dentist, look no further. I have not been to a dentist since the dark ages and was fairly anxious. Dr Cheng was kind and patient and listened to my sad story with compassion and helpful suggestions regarding my treatment. Minus the guilt trip. He will work with you throughout the process and you might just feel a little better. Mouthwize anyway. Try not to watch Marathon Man before you go.Posted on Google![]()

I have had wonderful dental care at SOAP with Dr. Cheng. Dr Cheng is a gentle and excellent dentist explaining every detail of my dental plan. The office is lovely and the practice uses the most current dental equipment for deep and thorough care. Frequently Asked Questions
How far is SOAP Dental from Holliston, and how do I get there?
Expect a 16-minute drive covering about 7.9 miles from the Holliston Public Library. Route 16 takes you east to Sherborn center, and Route 27 runs north from there into Natick and Middlesex Avenue. For families comparing options for a dentist Holliston, MA residents can reach on two roads, this trip is about as simple as it gets.
Can Holliston patients replace a missing tooth with a bridge?
Yes, Dr. Cheng places bridges, which fill a gap by anchoring a replacement tooth to crowns on the teeth beside it. A bridge restores chewing and keeps nearby teeth from drifting into the space. He also offers implants, and he compares both options for your mouth, including timeline and cost, before you decide.
What should I do if a permanent tooth gets knocked out?
Pick the tooth up by the crown, not the root, rinse it briefly and place it back in the socket or keep it in milk. Then call the office right away, because quick care gives the strongest chance of saving it. Dr. Cheng treats traumatic dental injuries, and the team reserves time for urgent visits whenever possible.
How often should Holliston families schedule cleanings and checkups?
Most people in Holliston and across Middlesex County do well with a cleaning and exam about every six months, and Dr. Cheng sets the right interval for each patient. Children's sealants can be checked at those visits, while adults with gum disease may need more frequent care. Regular visits help him catch cavities and gum problems early, when treatment is usually simpler and smaller.
Are dental X-rays safe?
Yes, the dose is very low. The office uses digital X-rays, which need less radiation than older film and show images on screen right away. Dr. Cheng takes them only when they help find hidden cavities, check bone or plan treatment, and he is happy to explain which images are planned and why.
